The Storied Me

1. Scope of Services

The Storied Me provides educational content, writing coaching, storytelling guidance, workshops, and feedback services designed to support personal reflection, writing development, and communication growth.

These services are educational and coaching-based in nature. They are not therapy, counseling, mental health treatment, legal advice, or admissions consulting, and participation does not guarantee specific outcomes related to college admission, career advancement, publication, or personal results.

 

2. No Guarantees

Because writing, storytelling, and personal growth are subjective and dependent on individual effort, background, and context, no guarantees are made regarding outcomes, results, or success.

Any examples or testimonials shared represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as promises of similar results.

 

3. Intellectual Property

All original materials provided by The Storied Me—including frameworks, prompts, instructional content, videos, worksheets, and feedback methodologies provided by StoryCoach—are the intellectual property of The Storied Me and may not be copied, redistributed, or resold without written permission.

You retain full ownership of your own writing and stories. By submitting content, you grant The Storied Me permission to review and provide feedback on that material.

With your explicit consent, anonymized excerpts may be used for teaching or illustrative purposes. No identifiable information will be shared without permission.

 

4. Use of Submitted Content

By submitting written, audio, or video content, you acknowledge that:

  • Feedback is interpretive and educational in nature

  • You remain responsible for final decisions about how your content is used, submitted, or shared

The Storied Me does not submit materials on your behalf unless explicitly stated.

 

5. AI-Assisted Feedback (if applicable)

Some services may include AI-assisted tools to support feedback or analysis. These tools are designed to supplement—not replace—human judgment.

AI-generated feedback should be treated as informational and reflective, not authoritative or prescriptive. Users are encouraged to apply critical judgment and personal discretion when engaging with AI-supported insights.

 

6. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations

Payment terms are disclosed at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Digital products and completed services are non-refundable

  • Coaching sessions must be canceled or rescheduled within the stated notice period

Exceptions may be made at the discretion of The Storied Me in cases of documented hardship.

 

7. Confidentiality

The Storied Me treats all client work with care and respect. While absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in all digital environments, reasonable steps are taken to protect submitted materials and personal information.

Clients are encouraged to avoid sharing content they are not comfortable submitting in an educational context.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Storied Me shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in services, use of materials, or reliance on feedback provided.

Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
